Translate English PDF to French
In the old days of translating an English PDF to French, businesses and organizations had to hire or contract with professional French translators. It was a time-consuming prospect that also cost quite a bit of money. But thanks to the makers of Babylon translation software, things are now dramatically different.
Babylon 9 is the latest incarnation of the well-known software, and it is packed full of exciting features including PDF translation. The software supports more than 75 different languages, French and English being among them. With just a few clicks of the mouse you can translate entire documents from English to French or just single words and short phrases.
Save time when you translate your English PDF
If you're using PDF documents on a regular basis you are most likely doing so for business or organizational purposes. That probably means you don't have a lot of time to spend waiting on translations to be done; you need them right away. Babylon makes that possible by providing translations in mere moments.
When you install Babylon 9 on your Windows-based PC you'll have the option to start the program automatically when you boot your computer. Exercising this option means the software is always ready at moment's notice, allowing you to translate your PDF's without having to wait for a Babylon 9 to start up and get ready.
Keep in mind that Babylon 9 offers full integration with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Full integration means you'll be able to translate your English PDF's on-the-fly, right from Acrobat. You won't need a special filter or a third-party conversion tool to generate a text file just to get your translation. Babylon 9 should work with most other third-party PDF readers as well.
How to translate their English PDF
There are two main translation methods available with a Babylon 9. The first is known as "one-click" translation. One-click works on single words and short phrases by allowing you to place your cursor over the desired words, hold the Ctrl key, and right-click the mouse. Babylon will present you with a pop-up window containing all of the information you need.
The other method of PDF translation involves copying and pasting text into a Babylon's translation box. This method is designed for large blocks of text or an entire English PDF document. To do this:
- copy the text from your PDF document
- paste it into the translation box in the main Babylon window
- choose the new language from the drop-down box (in this case it would be French)
- click the "translate" button and you're done
It's unlikely you'll have all of Babylon's language options installed on your computer. But for as many as you do have, you can get individual translations by simply changing your choice in the drop-down menu. Multiple translations are quick, easy, and seamless.
If you need to translate an English PDF to French you could hire a perky college student who may, or may not, get it right. Or you could get a copy of Babylon 9 and get fast, accurate translations every time.
